Un-Iced plain sponge cakes single layer approximately 1.25″ deep. are available to collect from our shop.

Decorate and create your own cake masterpiece. Perfect for those of you who enjoy the decorating but not the baking, wish to save time baking, don’t wish to have the expense of buying a large cake tin or require a cake base for that last minute order.

Two layers together are approximately 2.5″ deep and when filled & covered will give you a cake approximately 3″ deep (depending on the thickness of filling & Icing). For deeper cakes, you can layer 3 or 4 cakes together. Pieces of sponge may need trimming & leveling a little. It’s the same price for square or round,

Please Note: shelf life for an undecorated sponge is 7 days from the date of purchase, But shelf life once filled and iced will depending on the type of fillings & icing used, and may alter the keeping qualities of the whole sponge

The Un-Iced Plain Sponge Cakes will also freeze well enabling you to build up stock ready for those last-minute requests.
